Population Portrait IX is approximately 37" tall. The foundation consists of two pieces of polished granite 8 1/2" high. The jar itself is a 6" cylinder with a 3/8" wall thickness. Approximately 1/8" of wall thickness, from the top 3/8", has been cut from the outside to permit the dome lid to fit. The frosted foot of the jar is etched with acid. A non-etched ring is left on underside to diamond inscribe the artist signature, title, date, logo and edition number; example as follows:
